K-pop singers, including Super Junior, SNSD, and 2NE1 will attend the 2011 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards).
On November 24, according to the production crew for the MAMA, the awards ceremony will be held on November 29 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. Many K-pop stars, including Super Junior, 2NE1, SNSD, miss A, B2ST, 4minute, Hyun Ah, and more will attend the ceremony.
World famous hip-hop artists Will.i.am and Apl.De.Ap of The Black Eyed Peas, Chinese pianist Lang Lang, top Japanese diva Koda Kumi, Chinese Mariah Carey, Jane Zhang Liang Ying, and Singaporean pop singer Dick Lee are scheduled to appear. Ulala Session, winner of Mnet’s Super Star K3 will also appear.
The production crew for the MAMA says, “Since top stars from Asia will attend the ceremony, we think the ceremony is one step closer to being Asia’s representative music awards. Through MAMA, a variety of genres will be performed and each artist will give their best performance.”
An official says, “Singers from Korea’s big agencies, including YG, SM, JYP, Cube, and more will attend the ceremony. This means a lot in the singing world.”
The ’2011 MAMA’ will start at 5:00 p.m. and will last for 6 hours.
