Leeteuk sends farewell message to SuKiRa fans


The longest running idol DJs Leeteuk and Eunhyuk from Super Junior has departed from Super Junior Kiss The Radio (SuKiRa). They bid their goodbyes to their loyal listeners after hosting the radio program for 5 years and 3 months since the 1st show on August 21, 2006.

On December 5th, Leeteuk gave a special message to SuKiRa fans and thanked them before his military enlistment. He tweeted, "5 years and 3 months full of memories.. 1932 days of Kiss.. SuKiRa was a blessing. My goal was to host the show until the last day before my military enlistment, but I’m leaving early. It has been an early farewell, Thank you for being there for us."


He continued, "The 23 producers and scriptwriters who I have worked with through SuKiRa.. and my mate and my brother Eun, numerous guests and all the SuKiRa family who allowed us to keep our positions, thank you all. I'll be back as a better person"

The producers of the show has disclosed that the reason for Leeteuk and Eunhyuk's leaving the program is due to their busy schedule. The two host has completed their final show on December 5th. Leeteuk is also expected to join the military some time next year.

Meanwhile, fellow Super Junior members Sungmin and Ryeowook will be taking over their vacant seats.
