Super Junior Models for LG Electronics

Super Junior was selected to be the Asian model for LG Electronics' new line of smartphones, "L-Style." In order to commemorate the release of the new series, LG Electronics will create a Facebook event called, "LG Optimus Super Concert," that Super Junior will be a part of. This event will start this week beginning in Indonesia and go on for six weeks. Its main focus is Southeast Asia and they will include other countries eventually, such as Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.

Each country will have a "LG Mobile Facebook" page where the "Like" button has to be pushed in order to be part of the event. Through the event page, participants can imagine that they are having a phone conversation with Super Junior. Also, people can feel like they are at their own personal Super Junior concert.

LG Electronics will pick 2,100 people out of who participated in the event. To those selected, they will give CDs filled with Super Junior's, "Mr. Simple," music video and behind the scenes footage.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk shows off his new hairstyle

Super Junior member Eunhyuk revealed his new hairstyle to his fans.
On April 23rd, Eunhyuk who has sported a platinum blonde hairstyle for quite some time shared the above photo via his Twitter page with the word, ‘transformation‘.
The singer who greeted his fans earlier that morning with his blonde locks drew attention after sharing the new photo that revealed his sudden change in style.
His fans responded to his new red & straight hairstyle saying, “Why the sudden change?”, “You look even thinner“, and “Looks good on you!”
In related news, Eunhyuk along with the rest of his Super Junior members recently hit the coveted 500,000 sales mark for their album ‘Mr. Simple‘.

[Updated] SM Entertainment releases “Dear My Family” track + MV for ‘I Am’ OST

SM Entertainment has revealed a track for their upcoming movie, ‘I Am, titled “Dear My Family”.
On April 24th, the OST track was released through various music sites, and is already gathering much attention as the artists of SM Entertainment, including Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO-K, and EXO-M, have taken part in the recording of the song.
“Dear My Family” is a ballad featuring heart felt lyrics and the melodic vocals of the SM artists. Although the song has been released previously before, it has been re-recorded for the movie OST.
In addition to the track, a music video containing behind-the-scenes footage of the recording session as well as highlight clips from the movie itself, has also been released. “Dear My Family” as well as its instrumental version is now available on iTunes.

SM releases “Dear My Family” for the movie ‘I AM’ OST

The OST ‘Dear My Family’ of the movie 〈I AM: SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in Madison Square Garden〉 was released today.

The digital single ‘Dear My Family,’ released through various music websites including Melon, Genie, NAVER MUSIC, etc. on the 24th, was a track from Yoo Young Jin’s 3rd album ‘지애( released in 2001)’ and Kangta, Moon Hee Jun, S.E.S, Shinhwa, Fly to the sky and BoA participated in the song at that time.

Especially, as the movie 〈I AM.〉 will be released on May 10th, SM’s artists such as Kangta, BoA, TVXQ!, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO-K and EXO-M newly recorded the song.

Also, ‘Dear My Family,’ which features beautiful melody with touching lyrics and SM artists’ soft voice, is enough to touch listeners’ hearts.

Moreover, the music video of ‘Dear My Family’ will also be released on the 24th and show the highlight scenes of the movie 〈I AM.〉 and sketch of SM artists at the recording studio. Since the music video will give a glimpse of the movie, it is expected to draw more attention.

Meanwhile, the movie 〈I AM.〉, which will show SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR held at Madison Square Garden in New York on October 23rd and SM artists’ daily life, will be released on May 10th.

SM Entertainment establishes their new restaurant corporation, ‘SM KRAZE’

As one of Korea’s leading entertainment companies, SM Entertainment recently expanded their business by starting a travel and tourism business. Now it seems there will be even further expansion, as the agency will embark on their very own dining business.
On April 23rd, SM Entertainment revealed that they have partnered with Kraze International to launch a new joint venture business, ‘SM Kraze‘.
SM Kraze will build upon the current Hallyu phenomenon and develop itself as a global business by advancing overseas, creating a steppingstone into the international dining market.
SM Kraze will reflect upon the demands of the consumers and create a new culture of dining by grafting various E-factors, creating a new business model in the restaurant business by fusing entertainment and fine dining.
SM Kraze will be launching their very first ‘new style of PUB’ flagship store in Chungdam-dong within the first half of the year.
In related news, SM Entertainment has also acquired a large portion of shares from BT&I, South Korea’s fifth largest travel management corporation that is listed on KOSDAQ.

The Leader of Global KPOP-Fever Super Junior will Hold SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR “SUPER SHOW4” in SEOUL ENCORE in May! 

Super Junior, who has been fascinating music fans all over world with their world tour, will hold an encore concert in Seoul. 

SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR “SUPER SHOW4” in SEOUL ENCORE will be held at Gymnastics Stadium at Olympic Park in Seoul on May 26th and 27th. Since this is an encore concert of the ‘SUPER SHOW4’ held in Seoul in November, 2011, it is expected to receive an explosive response from fans in Korea, who want to see Super Junior’s concert again. 

Super Junior will present the performances of their hits, each member’s unit stages, powerful performances and fancy stages at the concert.  

The advance sale of tickets for the encore concert in Seoul will be available from 8:00 p.m. on the 26th on Gmarket (http://ticket.gmarket.co.kr).

Moreover, the concert package, which let fans watch Super Junior’s concert, will be on sale from 8:00 p.m. on the 24th through SMTOWN Travel (http://www.smtowntravel.com/concert), which conducts business related to travel and tours.

Super Junior to hold a ‘Super Show 4′ encore concert in Seoul next month

Super Junior has announced that they will be holding an encore concert in Seoul for their ‘Super Show 4‘ world tour.
On April 23rd, SM Entertainment revealed that the boys will be holding ‘Super Show 4 in Seoul Encore Concert‘ at the Oylmpic Gymnasium on May 26th and 27th.
As expected of their tour, the boys will be performing all of their hit songs as well as unique individual stages all planned and performed to perfection. Pre-sales for tickets will open on April 26th through G-Market.
Concert packages specially for international fans will also go on sale through ‘SM Town Travel‘, a business service that combines other tourist stops and options with the concert, which will open for sale on the 24th.
In related news, Super Junior will be continuing their tour through Jakarta and Tokyo on April 27th through 29th, and May 12th through 13th.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk impresses with his flawless skin

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk has fans and netizens buzzing over his confidence about his flawless skin.
On April 21st, the idol took to his Twitter to upload the above photo and tweeted, “No Makeup..!! Naked face! It’s absolutely real…100%. I never use BB cream..!! Because my face is very oily..hehe. I don’t know about my face, but I gotta admit that my skin looks goodHehe. Rather than a ‘good looking guy with great skin’, I’m just a ‘guy with great skin’ ^^.”
Leeteuk wasn’t mistaken in that his skin is pretty flawless. Even without any makeup, the Super Junior leader’s healthy, glowing face showed no signs of wrinkles.
Fans agreed with his self-praise, commenting, “You look so handsome without makeup“, “Nice baby-skin“, and “I’m ashamed to say that I’m a woman“.

Loving Leeteuk cooks pasta for his members

Super Junior's leader Leeteuk shows off his cooking skills and love for his members.
On April 22, he tweeted photos of the pasta he cooked for his members.

He tweeted, "1st pasta I made for the members!!!!^^" and "2nd pasta I made for the members!!!! It's so delicious!!!^^ Anyone wants to eat??!!!!^^.

Leeteuk cooked two kinds of pasta that show how much he loves his members. Fans who read his tweets commented, "Oh really looks delicious!!","Leader is very loving! Can you made pasta for ELFs too?","Yes I want to taste Leeteuk's pasta!" and so on.

Super Junior’s Heechul Shares Childhood Photos

On April 20, Super Junior’s Heechul shared a pair of his childhood photos with the caption, “Cute cute~Cute when he was little~Is it possible for this little kid to become the big star of the universe?”
In the first photo, little Heechul is seen wearing a yellow shirt with matching pants, and a traditional “bucket hairstyle” that was prominent among Korean kids in the 1980s.
In the other photo, Heechul is more dressed up and looks to be on stage performing at what seems to be a kindergarten talent show. In particular, his red bowtie and neatly ironed shirt reflect his high fashion sense, even at such a young age.
Netizens commented, “Heechul is of course the big star of the universe,” “I’m totally digging that hairstyle,” and “There’s no plastic surgery here.”

Super Junior Sells Out Another Concert in Japan

The Super Junior world tour, "Super Show 4," that is going to be held at the Tokyo Dome for a couple days, May 12 and May 13, is sold out. On April 19, Super Junior's Ryeowook wrote a message through his twitter about how the show was sold out. He wrote, "Tokyo Dome, even until yesterday we said..Super Junior's exclusive performance. Wow! We heard that it's sold out. I feel choked up. Thank you."

At this Tokyo Dome concert, there is going to be 100,000 fans filling up the place. It is a larger crowd than last year's concert at the Osaka Kyocera Dome, which was held in December. It is a more significant result because Super Junior accomplished it without ever making an official debut in Japan. They also never did any special promotions.

Fans who heard about the news showed their happiness by commenting, "I also feel proud and choked up," "I really like Super Junior," "I am waiting and really anticipating for the concert," and "Super Junior is extremely popular right now."

From February 2 to February 5, Super Junior performed at Taipai Arena in Taiwan. On February 18 and February 19, they performed at Singapore's Indoor Stadium. On April 6, they sang in Paris, France. Through their world tour, "Super Show 4," they proved their power as a group that represents Asia.

Super Junior leaves a thank you message to their fans

Recently, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Leeteuk have left a thank you note for their fans.
Early on April 21, Eunhyuk tweeted a picture and commented, “It’s a bit late, but I want to say thank you. I couldn’t believe it at first when I heard that our group has sold over 50,000 copies, but it made me feel somewhat confident and rewarded! Thank you all who purchased the CD. This will give us more strength in preparing for the next album.”
In the picture, Eunhyuk and Leeteuk are posing with a bright smile on their face as they hold a cake from their fans.
The group’s fifth album Mr. Simple sold over 50,000 copies recently, and the number of sales hits the top in domestic music market in past four years.
Netizens who saw the posting commented: “Congratulations on selling over 50,000 copies. The album is of ‘super level’ just like you guys.” “I’m so touched by your thank you note. Congratulations once again.” “They are ‘super idols.’ I’m looking forward to your sixth album.”

The main official trailer for SM Entertainment‘s documentary ‘I AM‘ has been released!
The upcoming film will feature the stories of label artists BoATVXQGirls’ GenerationSuper JuniorSHINee, and f(x). The trailer was released on the official fan cafe today.
‘I AM’ will cover footage of the day and events surrounding SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in Madison Square Garden back in October of 2011 as well as other exclusive content.

Preview of MBC Special “Super Junior Paris Concert Documentary” revealed

Earlier in the month, Super Junior wrapped up their ‘Super Show 4‘ concert in Paris in front of more than 7,000 fans.
Their ‘Super Show 4′ concert in Paris, France which was held at the Le Zenith De Paris concert hall featured fans from all over Europe. Aside from French fans, visitors from Germany, England, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy, and more were in attendance.
For those who couldn’t attend this epic concert, there’s some good news as MBC will be airing a Special Documentary on this concert. Earlier today, a preview for this documentary aired on MBC.

The preview shows Donghae crying saying as he’s talking about his late father in addition to leaderLeeteuk shedding tears.
The documentary will air on April 27th at 11:15PM KST.
